Player Code of Conduct
Play by the rules. Know the rules.
Never argue with an umpire. If you require clarification of rules, your captain (supported by your coach or manager) should courteously approach the umpire during a break or after the game to seek clarification.
Respect and accept all umpiring decisions without argument or bad temper. Verbal abuse of umpires, coaches, spectators and other players, is not acceptable and action may be taken by umpires or team officials.
Work equally hard for yourself and your team. Your team’s performance will benefit, so will you. Co-operate with your coach, team-mates and opponents. Without them there would be no game.
Be a good sport. Applaud all good play whether made by your team or the opposition.
Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not bully, interfere with, or take unfair advantage of another competitor. Respect the rights, dignity & worth of all participants regardless of gender, ability or cultural background.
Be a responsible team member by:
Participate in the spirit of netball at Redbacks Netball Club which is Fun, Family, Fitness and Friendship.
Registration of your child/children deems that you have read and understood this policy and will abide by it as a guardian of a member of Redbacks Netball Club
